I graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University (Cultural Studies) and later studied at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences (Modern history of Korea).
At the same time I participated in a number of educational programs held by South Korean universities, such as Busan University of Foreign Studies, Kyung Hee University and Sogang University.
My professional experience includes teaching Korean language and literature at Moscow universities, translating and interpreting from Korean, as well as working on various projects in Russia and both states of the Korean Peninsula.
Although my present research focuses on the "cultural waves" from Japan and South Korea, I am also interested in Asian Soft Power, Oriental Martial Arts, Korean language and literature and North Korean issues.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and wish everybody interesting and fruitful work
