Dr Eyal Propper
Areas of interest: 

Dr. Eyal Propper is Head of Bureau, Deputy Head of the Strategic Department at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dealing mainly with arms control, non-proliferation, counter terrorism and other Political-Security matters (including Cyber Security) in the diplomatic field.   

Dr. Propper served more than seven years at the Israeli Embassy in Beijing: he was the first Academic and Press Officer after the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Israel and China in 1992, and returned to China in 2002 as Minister, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of the Political Bureau.

Dr. Propper is a guest lecturer on China’s Foreign Policy and the Middle East at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the IDC Herzliya. His latest article on ‘China and the Islamic State’ was published lately by INSS, Israel.
